Have you ever come to Malang in 40’s decades / Monarchic Epoch?

It seems like impossible, but this event called FESTIVAL MALANG KEMBALI 2008 will bring you there in the decades that you never see before. Jl. Ijen as the famous boulevard in the downtown of Malang has changed into the different shapes. Many ancient to traditional booth are built along the street and they sold ethnics handicraft, you can find out unique hand made goods; puppets, batik, painting shirt, pencil city sketch, idol, and other interesting goods.

This is for the third times in the last 3 years annual event, but still can steal people attention into it. Actually we miss the traditional event that bring up our culture and show it, so that we have the huge awareness about our nation’s culture. Started on 22^nd of May until 25^th of May (Celebrating the City’s birthday), the committee said that Festival Malang Kembali has been visited more than a million visitors. Waow..

I just wondering if we can attract interns to join this event and make cooperation between AIESEC and local government, it’s a good way to promote the local event to the international level.

Check this out, Buffaloes in the street, temple behind us, and also the former president Bung Karno.

Believe me, this is not gonna be a boring session even you have come to this festival for the 2^nd times, because you will feel the different atmosphere when people around you wear the traditional clothes and traditional transportation.
