Local Conference Committee



One of activity in our LC UB now is Local Committee Conference will be held at 27th-28th march 2010, seulawah resort and cafĂ© Batu East Java. Delegates for LCC are for member, who take Leadership role, and it have faci’s from our EB and our chair from mcvp finance AIESEC Indonesia, Andra. This LCC is different because it will be prepared from current manager and it located at the most luxurious venue ever for LCC.
If we attend LCC you will get benefit, for newee you increase about aiesec knowledge and more, for the member you can charge new spirit for take higher role, strategy evaluation reunion member for aiesec member.

Activity's objectives

Conducting research about Small Medium Enterprises (SME) in Malang and share the learning about what we need to prepare and how to start small business for the beginners.
To get the knowledge about other countries SME and compare it with Indonesia's SME to improve the quality of SME.
Give seminar to the young enterpreneur especially from high schools.
Give entrepreneurial workshop and applicative business plan training for the young entrepreneur.
Give the opportunities for the SME project to promote their product and widen their networking.

Youth Entrepreneurship Seminar

This seminar was held on 13th of February 2010 and was intended for high school students in order to motivate these young people to explore and develop their entrepreneurial spirit. It was supported by three speakers and seven interns. It also succeeded in attracting 135 high school students from all around Malang.
There were 3 sessions, the first session was conducted by Ridwan Abadi, young & powerful motivator from ISI Way and the topic was about how to become both young & rich student by realizing your business plan. The second session was conducted by interns from China, USA, Austria, and Taiwan. In this session, the interns were facilitating students to make business plan for the competition. The last session was conducted by our AIESEC member : Primi Puspita and Winda Ayu. Both are young and successful entrepreneurs from AIESEC LC UB. At the end of the seminar, the interns announced two best groups of the business plan competition, each groups received gift from the organizing committees.

Roadshow

Roadshow is another event from LC UB’s PBoX SME, in which 3 high schools from Malang were involved, they were Brawijaya Smart School, MAN 3 Malang, SMAN 4 Malang. There were six meetings for each school. In this event each interns had responsibilities in teaching and developing students from each school. The interns taught and gave the students information relating to entrepreneurship, such as business idea, budgeting, customers’ satisfaction, etc. At the last meeting, one of our sponsor, Larissa Aesthetic Center opened a booth for the students. This roadshow aimed to select the best three groups from each school to compete in the next upcoming event of PBoX SME, National Entrepreneurship Forum 2010 (NEF 2010). NEF 2010 will be held on 11th April 2010 at the PPI Building FIB University of Brawijaya.

Learning Activities part 2



It’s AIDSPARE 2nd Learning activities. It was held in A3 building, Economic Faculty, Brawijaya University. Lots of knowledge and fun that we’ve got in this activities. At March 20th, this activities, the AIDSPARE Organizing Committee was helped by Mbak Hamidah from Tirai Remaja (Ngo) to learn more about the basic of HIV/AIDS, Mas Ulum from Sadar Hati (Ngo) to learn about Injection Drug Users (IDU) and how it related with HIV/AIDS, Mas Fajar from Batu Tourism to explain about the relation between tourism thing with spreading HIV/AIDS, and the last but not least, Doctor Amel from Larissa aesthetic center, to explain how facial activities can be related with spreading HIV/AIDS.

AIDSPARE Bonding Session and Learning Activities Part 1

AIDSPARE PBoX (Project Based on Exchange) will run around five months, and there will some problems in the team or when running the project. So, we do bonding session, the session to make the organizing committee get closer. This bonding session was held at March 14th , 2010 in Ryan’s house (staff of Exchange controller). We tell about our self, such as our hobby, personality, characteristic, weakness, strengthen, etc. we told our feeling if we do not convenient with someone, so they can change their badness to the better one gradually. We make it fun by doing some games.


Second activities are learning activities about project management. We learnt about problem definition, SWOT analysis, Successor criteria, etc. by learning project management, we know our project position, and we can take better action to succeed AIDSPARE PBoX.

"Sunshine Project in Russia"

AIESEC Presents, "Sunshine" Project in Russia!!!

Sunshine is a cultural understanding project that runs in
Russia. You will be forming International Team of interns
with youth of other country.

Internship Description:
Working with youth of 9-16 years old in local schools.
Interns will be doing presentation about issues related to
"Leadership", "Environment", "Cultural Interaction".

FareWell Party

There was 3 farewell parties since 2 weeks ago.
First, we have farewell party at Ria Djenaka Cafe on Jl. Bandung.
there was many Aiesecers because we had many interns who left 2 weeks ago.


and the second, it was held on Burger Buto... and there are 4 interns who left malang.
they are Peter, Ora, Betty and Joyce... and the last one was held on MOG for Amy and Karen, both of them are from China...


we hope we'll meet again guys someday, when we will be a good person in the world who can make peace everywhere and every time. last but not least we hope that experience can be shared to their friend in their country and being Exchange Participant to AIESEC LCUB,,yyyeey!!!
